Contraband Coffee Traders opened their second location at 312-314 Lygon Street in Brunswick East in January 2026, featuring Australia's first all-electric Probat P12E roaster alongside a cafe serving seasonal single origins roasted on-site. Founded by Jesse and Chris Legge, the brand has built a reputation for obsessive sourcing and honest, batch-roasted blends at their Preston original. This new site doubles as a transparency showcase: you can watch the roast while you drink the result.
