Part of the Cibreo restaurant cluster anchored on Via del Verrocchio in Sant'Ambrogio, the Cibreo Caffe opened in 1989 and was among the first bistrot-format cafes in Florence. The espresso bar serves a devoted local crowd from early morning, and the adjacent trattoria and restaurant maintain the family's celebrated Florentine kitchen next door. It remains a neighbourhood institution with no tourist shortcuts in sight.
