Founded in 2006 by Isaac Padilla and Fabian Delgado, Caligari is one of the earliest specialty coffee pioneers in Guadalajara and still one of the most beloved, with a distinctive vintage horror-and-cinema aesthetic running through its multi-room converted house. The espresso machine is a Dalla Corte Evo2 and the house Rompopino - an espresso drink made with Mexican rompope - has become a signature. Weekend queues form outside the small space, confirming its enduring status as a neighbourhood institution.
