Caffè Sansone
Chiaia · Naples
Pouring beans from Caffè Sansone
Founded in 2012 by Vincenzo Sansone on Corso Vittorio Emanuele in Chiaia, this was the first microroastery with an attached café in Naples and remains the city's most significant specialty pioneer. Beans are roasted on-site and sourced from producing countries with full traceability; the café offers both espresso and filter preparations, unusual in a city that has historically resisted departure from the traditional formula. Sansone built a following among Neapolitan coffee drinkers who wanted quality without abandoning the city's intensity preference.
