Established in 1945 at the corner of Piazza della Passera on Via dello Sprone, Caffe degli Artigiani is one of Oltrarno's most lived-in neighbourhood bars. The cobblestone square in front fills with locals in the evening and the cafe is known for home-made cakes and occasional live music. It is not a specialty destination, but it represents the authentic Florentine bar culture that third-wave cafes exist alongside.
