Named from two East African words for coffee, Boon Boona is a Black-owned roastery and cafe whose founder has Eritrean roots and has built a program celebrating traditional African coffee culture since 2018. All beans are sourced directly from African farms, roasted in-house, and served alongside culturally rooted specialty drinks including a renowned berbere-spiced mocha. A vital and singular voice in Seattle's specialty scene.
